SUSTAINABLE WORLD
Solar Panels
Many projects are being carried out in our school for the use of sustainable energy sources. As one of these projects, we have placed solar panels on the roof of our school, the design and planning of which was done entirely by our students. By using the energy obtained from these panels in our school, we both meet some of our school's electrical energy needs and once again emphasize the importance of sustainable energy production and the use of clean resources.
TEMA Seedling and Education Donation
As EnkaTech, we planned to make educational donations and sapling donations through the Tema Foundation on behalf of all teams participating in the Bosphorus Regional. With the support of our students, we realized 6 sapling donations and 10 student donations on behalf of all Bosphorus Regional teams. In this project, we aim to contribute to the environment and sustainability. For this purpose, we made our donations with the note “For a Better Future”.
Patilaç
Enkatech is a team that cares about animals and participates in activities for their well-being. Our members are also involved in such activities in their personal lives. As a team, we participated in an activity organized by our teachers at our school. Within the scope of the Patilac project, we supported the recovery of our animal friends who were sick by choosing the ones that would not harm animals from the medicines that are not used at home.
Electronic Waste & OSB
In this project, with the help of Makine Ä°htisas OSB, Exitcom and Tema Foundation, we recycled the e-waste collected from the students at our school with Exitcom and donated saplings to TEMA Foundation. Thus, we contributed to the creation of a cleaner world through both the recycling of waste and sapling donations.
ENKA Sustainability Day
On May 13, 2023, we are organizing a sustainability day at Istinye Enka Schools campus with the joint participation of 3 ENKA schools. Within the scope of this project, we will organize various activities for students to participate in, as well as award-winning project and idea competitions with the theme of sustainability and localization.
