STEM W ENKATECH

Arduino Projects
We developed this project to bring the book “Arduino Projects” written by our mentor Abdullah KILIÇASLAN to more people and to popularize coding in society.
First of all, we showed the bread board diagram of the project we chose by using the TINKERCAD application. Then we explained the Arduino codes and shared our training videos on our Youtube account.
Engineering With Kids
The main purpose of this project is to make children love STEM and encourage them to become engineers. We visit middle schools, introduce FIRST and FRC in the middle schools we visit, introduce and popularize engineering and STEM by doing certain projects and experiments with them.
At the same time, after determining that there are children who have a special interest in engineering and STEM, we shared our contact information with them and established a WhatsApp group in order not to lose contact with them.

Play for STEM
We aimed to spread STEM to more people through music in the “Play for STEM” project, which we started with the inspiration we received from FIRST values.
We regularly published the songs performed by our own students on our Youtube account with the title “Play for STEM” and received 6795 views with our videos.
Adapazarı ENKA - Technology Day
On May 12, 2022, we visited our sister school Adapazarı ENKA Schools. At the “Technology Day” organized at their school, we introduced the robotic projects we developed at our school, especially FRC.
We met with 800 students from primary, middle and high school levels.
We introduced FRC to the students, told them about our social responsibility projects and had fun with them by running our robot.

Career Day
We organized a career day event at our school. We brought our students together with experts from various professions, especially engineering, and provided them with information about professions.
We hosted people who have been successful in the fields of medicine, dentistry, computer engineering, industrial engineering, law, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, architecture, electrical and electronics engineering, mechatronics engineering, software engineering, psychology, pharmacy, molecular biology and genetics, aircraft engineering and economics.
STEM Interviews
The aim of our Blue Microphone project was to inform students who are undecided about their career choices about the departments they can study, and to get advice from our experienced graduates who have already started their careers.
To this end, we contacted the ENKA Alumni Association and met with them. We also drew attention to the gender stereotypes of professions by learning about the gender inequalities they face in business and education. We interviewed 11 graduates from various universities.

ENKATECH BuildBlog
Through ChiefDelphi, we share what we have done in the new season with other FRC teams and followers.
We gave information about every stage from the most basic design and prototypes of our robot to the manufacturing and electronics of the robot. Thus, we spread our work and engineering to more people.
Scratch Booklet
We accelerated our coding and algorithm trainings for children, which we conducted face-to-face before the pandemic and online during the pandemic, with our “Let's Learn Scratch” booklet this year.
As ENKATECH, we aim for children to take their first steps with Scratch to learn about STEM and coding.
